Manage your SlidesMate subscription from Billing. Existing subscribers can open the Stripe billing portal to change or cancel their plan, update payment details and view invoices. Check the timing and amount shown before confirming any change.
Open your billing portal
- Sign in to the SlidesMate account that owns the subscription.
- Open the account menu and choose Billing, or go directly to Billing.
- Select Manage Subscription in your current-plan card, or Open Billing Portal under Billing & Payment.
- Complete the billing action in Stripe, then return to SlidesMate.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. The billing page shows your current plan, billing interval and renewal or access-end date. Review pricing for plan features; the portal shows the available changes and their billing timing before confirmation.
Stripe's customer portal documentation describes the portal's subscription, payment-method and invoice controls. The options displayed depend on the portal configuration and your subscription.
Cancel renewal
- Open the portal from Manage Subscription or Open Billing Portal.
- Select your subscription and choose its cancellation option.
- Review the effective date and finish the confirmation steps. Opening the portal alone does not cancel renewal.
- Return to Billing and check the current-plan card. A scheduled cancellation shows Cancels and Plan access ends with a date.
SlidesMate's Terms state that access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Keep the cancellation confirmation and check the effective date shown by Stripe. If that date or the billing-page status does not match what you expected, contact support before relying on the change.
Cancellation and account deletion are separate actions. You do not need to delete your account to stop renewal. Account deletion removes your active profile and presentations; review the Privacy Policy before deleting data you want to keep.
What happens when paid access ends
When the paid entitlement ends, the account returns to trial-level capabilities. Cancellation itself does not delete saved presentations. You can still open your saved decks and make manual edits, but clean PDF, PowerPoint and PNG exports require a paid plan. The editor offers a watermarked PDF preview instead. Download any required paid exports before the access-end date.
Returning to trial-level access does not start a fresh seven-day trial or replenish the original one-time trial credits. Creating presentations and using AI remain subject to the original trial's time, credit and deck limits. See trial and credits for those limits.
Business collaboration also depends on the owner's active plan. When it ends, named collaborators lose access to that deck. Canceling a subscription does not turn off an enabled public viewing link: use Share → Public link to disable it separately. See sharing permissions.
Billing problems and refund questions
If the portal does not open, retry from Billing and check your connection. If the controls are missing, confirm that you signed in to the account used for the subscription. Contact support@slidesmate.com if you cannot access cancellation or if the status still looks wrong after returning from Stripe.
For a charge or refund question, include the account email, invoice reference and a description of the issue. The Terms govern refund eligibility, including any rights required by applicable law or terms expressly stated at purchase. Canceling renewal does not itself confirm a refund.
