We built SlidesMate to compress the mechanical part from hours to minutes so the creative work gets the time it deserves. The team includes engineers from Google, Stripe, and Microsoft, plus product designers from Atlassian and Figma — but most importantly, people who have presented to skeptical executives, raised funding rounds, and sat through bad workshops, and who are tired of slide formatting being a tax on every meaningful conversation.

Current focus areas: deeper PowerPoint compatibility (animations, charts), better collaboration features (comments, real-time editing), and expanded Markdown API capabilities (more themes, advanced layouts).
