By accessing or using SlidesMate ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
SlidesMate is an AI-powered presentation creation platform that generates slide decks from text prompts. The Service includes a web editor, template library, AI generation capabilities, and export functionality.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
As between you and SlidesMate, you retain the rights you have in content you submit and in generated output to the extent permitted by applicable law. AI-generated output may not be unique and may not qualify for intellectual-property protection in every jurisdiction. Stock images remain subject to their provider's license and attribution requirements. You grant SlidesMate a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit content only as needed to provide and secure the Service. You represent that you have the rights needed for content you upload and remain responsible for reviewing generated claims, citations, and third-party rights before use.
You agree not to use the Service to:
New accounts receive a seven-day trial with 100 one-time AI credits and up to 5 presentations; the trial includes a watermarked PDF preview, while clean and editable exports and premium features require a paid plan. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or expressly stated at purchase. You may cancel through account billing, and access continues until the end of the paid billing period. Current prices and billing timing are shown before checkout.
The Service is provided without a guaranteed service-level agreement unless one is agreed separately in writing. AI generation and other integrations depend on third-party providers and their availability. Critical bugs affecting core functionality are prioritized for investigation.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SlidesMate's total liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your important content.
You may terminate your account through Settings. Confirming deletion removes access and deletes active account data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment, security risk, unlawful activity, or a material violation of these Terms. When circumstances reasonably allow, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits, remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, with the arbitration taking place in Delaware. You and SlidesMate each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions. This arbitration provision does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive relief in court for intellectual property infringement.
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the date at the top of this page and, when appropriate, provide additional notice before a material change takes effect. If you do not agree to revised Terms, you may stop using and delete your account.
