By accessing or using SlideMate (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SlideMate is an AI-powered presentation creation platform that generates slide decks from text prompts. The Service includes a web editor, template library, AI generation capabilities, and export functionality.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create using SlideMate. By using the Service, you grant SlideMate a limited license to process your content for the purpose of generating and delivering presentations.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service.
• Exceed rate limits or abuse the API.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.

6. Pricing and Billing

Free accounts are subject to usage limits. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Limitation of Liability

SlideMate is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or business interruption.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
